Coolvu vs Xpel for Heat Reduction in Skylights
Searched the sub and couldn't find this. Sorry if it's been asked before.
Our kitchen has three massive skylights that cook like the stove :) I received estimates from different shops and I'm struggling to compare. Xpel Clear View Plus 70 vs Coolvu ceramic 40%. On paper the Coolvu performs slightly better but is also tinted. It's also $400 cheaper which seems odd for better TSER ratings. We want less tint, which the Xpel provides but I can deal with a little darker skylights to save some $$. I also don't have a problem spending on Xpel if it is better overall.
Any opinions from users or the pros?
Thanks!
