Can anyone suggest good anti glare and anti iv guard film for windshield .
I have to frequently go to the highway and the high beams coming from opposite lanes is blinding and risky. I visited few shops and the price starts from 4,000 - above 15000

Got new tint done on honda civic sport 2026 model. Florida weather is insanely hot and decided to go with xpel xr plus
I’ve been driving a sedan that was done before I bought it and I’m sure it’s darker than that and never had issues with the cops.
We’re fixing to get my wife another car and I want to get the windows tinted but want to go at least 20%.
How much trouble have yall had from cops as long as you’re mostly respectful during stops?
Going with 70% windshield, 20% fronts and 15% on rears and Sunroofs. Expel Prime XR plus- $1000 cash price. Warranty included. 2022-4s. Was Quoted $800 for Llumar 1RX, and 5/6 hundred for Suntek ceramic, Going with the XR-plus.
Just curious what I should be paying for some quality work with decent quality tint
Looking for 15-20% all around and maybe 50% on the windshield or 70% but not sure yet about that
Hopefully some tint experts in here. I want to get my windows tinted on my car but my old tint will cost me $250 to remove. Being ceramic the guy quoted like $750 to remove old tint and install new. I know a razor blade is not the move. What is a good chemical to use or trick? I tried the crappy autozone tint removal spray it did nothing. Tia
A shop told me 15% visibility would be fine for a windshield, it's too dark to see at night and visibility isn't good. I want it 30%.
Should I expect a replacement from them?

I've driven with it for a couple weeks and it still bugs me every time I pull out of the garage. Did I pick the wrong darkness or is this just what windshield tint does?
The dash area under the windshield is black btw
I’m seeing people getting charged thousands of dollars just for some window tint. Why is it that expensive? I could find some window tint myself for around 50 bucks. I have some experience in wrapping. How hard is it actually gonna do it yourself considering that they’re charging that much
Who does a decent tint job in the metro area? Preferably near the Tigard Oregon area. I am sort of on a budget but don’t mind spending a little extra. I got my first quote on a full detail for my 2021 Hyundai Elantra for $530.
This shop does a lot of dealership work in town…certainly seems like a low effort job…
Hi everyone. Wanted to know opinions on xpel xr black tint. I have a X5 and though dealership says they did do free add on tint of permagard brand , tbh I really cannot see any tint. I looked into getting Xpel xr black 20% for rear and 35% front side windows. . Ive been quoted $700 from a reputable business. Is this decent pricing & do detailers remove door panels for clean bottom edges.
I shall speak to dealership to reconfirm the tint as this was a free add on, but I am reading good reviews of Xpel compared to others. Also what brand car shades betn x-car vs snap shades?
Shop said they installed dyed film but the inside is super reflective, sun through the windshield bounces off the driver window and I see my whole interior in the side mirror. Shop is otherwise reputable, is this normal for dyed or did I get a different film?
They install Xpel and they’d give me a warranty from Xpel as well as their shop. Anyone ever hear of them? Thinking about getting my tint done by them. What could go wrong?
Thank you!
Hey guys, looking for some advice from the pros on how to navigate this.
I got my car (brand new Golf) tinted on Thursday, including the front windshield. The issue with this car is there are zero physical buttons, the climate, volume, and heated seats are all controlled by a massive touchscreen and touch-sensitive sliders sitting right below the windshield gap.
On the drive home, the slip solution runoff clearly got into the electronics. The screen started flickering non-stop, and the AC was changing by itself.
Today (Friday), it's still glitching out. The power mirrors wouldn't work on startup, the heated seats keep randomly blasting on, and the heat cranked to max by itself in 95-degree weather.
I texted the shop owner immediately. He was actually super professional and told me: "I got you no matter what sir. If this is an inconvenience for you, then it’s my problem, not yours. Keep me posted."
He wants me to bring it in tomorrow (Saturday) morning so they can try blowing it out with an air compressor. I also have an appointment at the dealership booked shortly after.
My questions for the tinters here:
Any advice from the business side of things is really appreciated!
I recently paid $600 for all my windows and my windshield to be tinted with ceramic but I feel like it has absolutely no heat rejection how can I figure out if it’s really ceramic or if I was scammed (was only quoted $400 for regular tint)
Clearly this isn’t supposed to be like this but do I jus leave it alone or do I reach out to the company and get them to fix it
I just went to a tint shop and asked about getting the windshield tinted and the guy said they don’t tint the windshield due to the electronics in the dashboard. Is this a thing?
