AppleCare+ replaced my iPhone 15 Pro that had a broken back glass with a 16 Pro. It took two weeks I guess due to unable to find a 15 Pro? I verified with Apple before activation to make sure I was supposed to get this 16 Pro they sent (never got an email about my phone is on the way, just a knock on the door from FedEx). The broken iPhone 15 has been returned and received by Apple with email confirmation showing the replacement is complete. I see on settings it says I have XX days to add AppleCare but when I click, it says coverage expired Dec 2024?? I’ve had the iPhone 15 Pro longer than that. I pay monthly for AC for the 15 Pro. Shouldn’t it just transfer over to the new phone automatically like it’s done in the past? I’ve had the phone replaced before and coverage transferred on its own. Thanks
I’m looking at either buying the iPhone 16 or 17 and needing help understanding the whole discounts on both. I see $200 off 36mos bill credit for new lines which this new iPhone will be. I have a 12 Pro to trade and get a better deal on the 17 with the trade than nothing on the 16. No trade needed for the 16 and will come out to zero but more interested in the iPhone 17.
