What drugstore makeup products actually look expensive?

Every time I look up makeup recommendations, someone immediately suggests something that costs forty to sixty dollars and I refuse to believe there isn't a drugstore version that gets you ninety percent of the way there for a fraction of the price. I'm not even necessarily looking for exact dupes. I'm more interested in products that just punch way above their price point on their own. The kind of thing where someone asks what you're wearing and you tell them you got it at Target and they cannot believe it. I lean toward a natural look so the categories I'm most interested in are skin tints and foundations, blushes, setting sprays, brow products, mascaras and lip products. Basically anything that gives that put together finish without the price tag that makes you have to think about it for three days before buying. Because I know how makeup pricing works. Sometimes you're paying for an incredible formula that actually does something different and sometimes you're just paying for the packaging, the brand name and the aesthetic of the website. I'm trying to figure out which drugstore products are competing with the high end stuff versus which ones just look good in a flat lay.
