Screeching baby caiques

Hello, seeking advice from this community

I recently got 2 black headed caiques about 3 days ago and they really about 8.5 weeks old (maybe closer to 9 weeks). I got them before they were weaned because I’ve hand fed and weaned other parrots before.

They are screeching like clockwork (3 screeches back to back every few seconds). They usually scream when they see me or when I am around. If they don’t see me for 30 minutes, they stop screeching.

I am hand-feeding them three to four times per day, 13 mLs of formula, and they have a piece of apple and millet seeds in their box to pick at in between meals. Their box is kept at 80 degrees around the clock. They get 12 hours of sleep in complete darkness. I make sure their crops are empty in the morning. They seem to have a good amount of energy and walk around a bunch when I take them out the box.

I’m just wondering if I’m doing things right for these caiques. Thanks!

Active Duty Navy FM Physician

I saw some recent job postings looking to recruit active duty FM physicians for the Navy. It looks like they give 30 days PTO, unlimited sick days, living stipend, and a hefty sign on bonus if you commit to it for 4 years. Does anyone have any insight or thoughts?
