Boarding In Winchester

Should probably post this on the sixth form subreddit but oh well, I have a very good chance of boarding at Peter Symonds and was wondering what it’s like for 16-18 year olds.

I live on coast so not far at all but I would much prefer to live anywhere other than home. I visit Winchester often but never enough to find myself wanting to do things / be bored. I like the quietness of the city but when it comes to activity’s all people are saying is pubs and drinking which is obviously not doable for my age.

Because I will be in education I can’t imagine I’ll find myself bored very often but for someone who isn’t hugely into sports and can’t drink I was wondering if there’s any activity’s I could do, many of my friends will also be going and I’m sure I’ll make friends at the sixth form so meeting people isn’t a problem.

I’m sure I’ll find myself reading a lot or doing indoor activity’s but when it comes to it, what’s there to do in Winchester for 16-18 year olds?

Any 1930s free roam games?

firstly, I apologise if I'm doing something wrong or breaking rules. This is like the second time I have ever posted on reddit, but anyway. I'm looking for a game that gives off the snowy, cozy 1930s vibe. A game where you can roam the streets and drive vintage cars. the closest game I've found that matches what I'm looking for is Mafia II with some mods. As I'm not the best with computers I would prefer for the game I'm looking for to not have to be modded but I'm sure I could figure it out.

I know the answer will probably be no and that I'm best off playing a modded Mafia II but I thought I would give this a shot before I buy a £30 game and try to inject it with all sorts of sketchy mods from random websites.
