Questions about Testosterone therapy
Hello, I'm 25 (Ftm) and I'm looking into hormone therapy. I started taking some time to self reflect and do some introspection into myself as a person. I've come to the conclusion that I'm a dude (probably, life is always weird). I'm considering hormone therapy but I'm a little unsure. I'm currently looking into a therapist who specializes in LGBTQ+ problems and situations to help me explore more into my gender. I definitely want to get top surgery, but I'm just curious about hormone therapy. Did it help your gender dysphoria? What side effects come with it? What changes does your body go through and health risks? Do they interact with any medications? What would happen if I never got bottom surgery but only hormone therapy and top surgery? What are your experiences like with it?
Sorry if this was a text dump, I'm just a little lost about where to go or where to start besides the usual I've been told was 'change your clothes' and 'cut your hair'. I figured asking would be better from people who have personal experience in this. Any advice or answers are welcome.
