Looking for a photographer to secretly capture my proposal — Killarney / Manitoulin / SSM area
So I’ve been going down a rabbit hole of proposal photos from Banff and I’m fully obsessed. The ones where the photographer is hidden somewhere nearby and just captures the whole thing as it happens — no posing, no awkward “okay now look at each other” stuff. Just the real moment.
I want to do something like that but in Northern Ontario. We’re based in Toronto and I’ve been scouting spots around Killarney (The Crack specifically), Manitoulin Island, and the Sault / Algoma Highlands area. Open to other suggestions if you know a spot that would blow someone’s mind.
Has anyone done something like this up there? Or know a photographer who actually hikes and isn’t just doing backyard engagement shoots? Ideally someone who knows the trails, can get into position without being obvious, and is good at candid work.
Not looking for anything super formal — just someone who can capture that one moment properly without her knowing they’re there.
