Interview: January 7, 2026
At the interview, the officer told me my case could not be approved because it had been placed on hold due to the USCIS policy affecting applicants from certain designated countries.
My online status remained stuck after the interview for months.
I contacted my congressional representative like 2 weeks ago, who submitted a congressional inquiry with USCIS on my behalf.
Now I’m waiting for Card Is Being Produced and the physical green card.
Hopefully this helps anyone else whose case was held because of these policies. Feel free to ask any questions if you’re in a similar situation.
