Bloody diarrhea

My baby is 12 weeks (tomorrow). For the past two weeks we have been dealing with traces of blood in diarrhea. Not all stools have been bloody but most of them have been diarrhea. Sometimes it is brown, frothy or mucusy green, or yellow. Baby is very happy and doesn’t seem to have any other issues. He has been gaining weight wonderfully his entire life.
We took him the the ped a week ago who didn’t find anything else of concern, and told me to try getting off sunflower lecithin since that was the only thing I had changed in my diet and can potentially cause digestive issues (had mastitis a week or so before this started, finished antibiotics a few days before noticing the blood). I’ve been off of them for over a week now.
I have been doing some research and have found some articles saying that a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance can cause diarrhea, but there are conflicting sources that say whether it can cause blood. I have dealt with oversupply in one breast and lately my baby has been feeding for shorter amounts of time, which leads me to believe that it could be this (getting more foremilk than hindmilk). I do have another appointment scheduled in a couple of days to discuss with the pediatrician.
Has anyone dealt with this? Any advice is welcome.
