Okay, so; I’ve started writing my first fanfiction like almost 2 years ago and made the mistake of immediately publishing on ao3, after only the first chapter, lol. of course it had to be a complete series rewrite time travel fix-it, bc why start small when you can drive Yourself into burnout instead 🙃 I was in a Creative Flow back then and managed to get to about halfway of second year, but I made some mistakes that lead to plot evolving in ways I didn’t intend it to and also had some personal struggles, so I stopped writing, but I really do miss it and I have so many ideas and wanna start back up again.
but to do that, I really need to fix some stuff like formatting and also plot wise and that’s just like such a big mental mountain that I just don’t get started yay.
i have a very rough general outline and I know some major plotlines that i definitely want to happen, like they are the reason I started writing that fic, but they all happen in later years and getting there with the appropriate amount of foreshadowing and stuff is hard.
So now I’m looking for a beta reader, to proofread, bounce ideas off of, and maybe also as a bit of a motivator to keep writing?

Hey y’all, so I have been trying to find this fic forever, searched with any tags I could think of, and still came up with nothing, so here’s to hoping one of you recognizes it!
to be fair I only remember one scene in particular:

a whole group of Hogwarts students friends, including Sirius and Remus And maybe other adults goes to New York? there they want to celebrate something and so Remus? Goes to shop for the party and at one of the shops (I think an actual party supplies shop) he finds regulus working there with no memories of who he is or of magic and stuff from before the cave. And so they talk and eventually regulus and Sirius reunite (maybe at the party?) and the party is thrown outdoors, maybe at a park.

honestly I have been searching for this for over a year so if one of you recognizes this fic I’d be so grateful!!

so, I remember that Harry was actually snapes son but both didn’t know but then found out I think through letters from lily and then Harry went and lived with snape at his manor? And his Appearance changed, bc lily put some spells on him before to make him look like James son so that he would be safer, and then Harry returns to Hogwarts as snapes son and goes to slytherin and he and Draco and snape work to convince all of slytherin not to follow voldy, by showing them all memories of death eater meetings and how bad voldy treats his followers and how insane he is and it works and the slytherins are all against voldy then.
it’s not “found family” or “practicing liars” (at least I think so with pl, ff im totally sure it’s not that)
