Is it just a Twitter storm that will blow over? I’ve encountered the discourse mostly here on Reddit, since I’m not on Twitter, but it worries me a bit. What I’ve picked up is that they draw fem!Draco as anime figure and call her a derogatory term for women.
Sorry if this is a topic that’s wrong for the sub, I’ll delete if so.
They posted this on their tumblr, in case anybody else is curious. I don’t think we’ll be getting those fics back, and they also said to download the remaining fics in case you want them, so. Such a pity, but I completely understand them. Fuck JKR and her transphobia. Literally nobody has the authority to dictate how other people live their lives. I hate how she’s become the worst person that she has created, she’s literally becoming Umbridge, the fanfics were a balm for me. But lately I’m noticing more and more authors either orphaning or deleting their fics and I suspect a few of them are because of her actions. I DO NOT BLAME THEM, I completely, completely understand them. I, however, blame JKR so much for taking away so many nice things from us. End rant.
I hope I’m not breaking any rules!
I had The Four Doors on my tbr for the longest time. I finally got around to reading it a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing. Literally all my favourite things in a fic: obsessed Harry, equally obsessed Draco, mild angst, an interesting plot, fabulous writing, very hot spice. I have already reread it again, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Make sure you read the short follow up from Draco's POV too. Eight o'clock, tomorrow:
OMGHG why do I not see more people talking about this beautiful fic!!?? It was so well written and just omg, I loved it sm! Harry was SO oblivious, it was maddening, and I loved LOVEDDD how they wrote Harry and Draco! Gave up my sleep for it, and it was so worth it omg. Need more fics like this, so please tell me if you guys know any!!
I’ve seen people ask about Drarry merch in this sub before, so I wanted to share smth I bought recently from Helen Jee! Their art is so adorable (the artbook is my favourite <3), and they have general HP/ the trio stuff too. I believe their shop is open for two more weeks

as the title says! looking for fics with bottom harry/top draco, but i don’t mind switching. can be super plotty or just straight up porn lol. i specifically like when harry is somewhat confident, but really anything works. i’ve been reading drarry for years and i feel like ive picked through the archive pretty thoroughly
some of my favs of all time are another mask behind you by lettered (goated), enemies with benefits by anon, S+ by TobiasAfterDark444, Half Sick of Shadows by StarQuesting, and This is Normal by CopperCatbird.
likes: powerful harry, lots of angst, kink, bar/clubbing scenes, jealousy, sub harry
dislikes: blushing virgin harry, they’re friendly right away (i can get down with a fast sexual burn but i need slow burn relationship wise lol)
Just some fics I’ve read recently with this, for some context…. (open to anything)
Grounds for Divorce by Tepre (just finished today loved everything about it)
Love on the Brain by lettersbyelise
In the Presence of Your Enemy by dodgerkedavra
A Hundred Times Before by megreads99
Crawling Back to You by wheredoesshego (loved the aspect of it being in the middle of the war, and hidden relationship)
Ankles by citrusses
Balance, Imperfect by bixgirl1
Call Me by Your Name (And I'll Call You by Mine) by acupforslytherin (heartbreaking fic🥲)
and many more, these are the first ones that come to mind
Needed a quick fun read and came across this recently posted work and just had to make a rec because it was so good.
(I love when the friend groups combine + Pansy/Ginny!!! + they're both just so sweet and hopeless, I love them). The little things Harry did in this fic for Draco were so cute.
Anyway - Cinnamon
Are there any fics where Draco or Harry has a cold? Nothing seriously ill, just a fever, and having the other take care of them
