Hopelessly pining & adorable crack/fluff??

Needed a quick fun read and came across this recently posted work and just had to make a rec because it was so good.

(I love when the friend groups combine + Pansy/Ginny!!! + they're both just so sweet and hopeless, I love them). The little things Harry did in this fic for Draco were so cute.

Anyway - Cinnamon

Looking for Drarry fics with Dudley in them?

this is such a weirdly specific thing to ask but does anyone know any drarry fics where dudley makes an appearance?

i’ve randomly been thinking about that deleted movie scene with harry and dudley where they actually have a little human moment and idk. it gives me such an ache. i can't even explain what it is about it that gets me lol. something about harry getting this tiny bit of closure / normalcy with his childhood?

it absolutely does NOT have to be a dudley-focused fic or even remotely part of the main plot. i’d actually love something where he just kind of... exists in harry’s life post-war.

i remember liking dudley’s appearance in away childish things, which is kind of what made me think of this.

so yeah. any drarry where dudley shows up? or honestly anything that has that same weird post-war harry + dudley ache even if dudley isn't actually in it?

i know this is extremely niche but i feel like someone has to know what i mean lmao

Anyone else feeling uneasy about where the AI discourse in fandom has gone?

To be clear before anyone misreads this: I do not think being against AI is wrong. I think people are well within their rights to avoid AI assisted works, ask authors questions, advocate for transparency and have discussions about the integrity of it all 1000%.

What I've been noticing and honestly struggling with is everything that seems to come with that.

Idk if it's just me but lately every accusation/allegation seems to turn into a full blown “witch hunt” so to say. Or at least that there's definetly a huge part of it that has a "witch hunt" mentality to it. It feels less about the act and more about catching people. Maybe I'm the only one who feels that way idk but it's been hard not to notice.

If the goal is to protect artists, why does it feel like we're creating an environment where artists are terrified to exist? am I the only one thinking this? Idk. I think there could just be a more gentle way to go about it but then again maybe I’m just soft ?? idk yall

I'm not saying don't question people, right. I'm saying there's a massive difference between asking someone like "hey can you clarify this?" and deciding they're guilty before they've even had a chance to respond. And even in cases where someone has used AI I've seen people take it so far beyond accountability that it turns into harassment, entirely shitting on them, public humiliation, and even death threats????? At that point... um?? what are we actually accomplishing?

I've been in this fandom for years and have seen discourse cycles come and go but this one feels... different? Meaner?

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I dont think protecting fandom and treating people like human beings should be mutually exclusive? I don't think asking questions and extending a little bit of grace are mutually exclusive either?

Idk anyway that's my Saturday rant, just wanted to see if anyone else has been feeling this way or if I'm totally off base. pls be kind lol

Deceiving-the-other trope

Looking for Drarry fic recs where one of them deceives the other in some way - could be before they get together, during the relationship, or even after. Doesn’t necessarily have to be outright cheating, more like hidden identities, manipulation, secret agendas, betrayals, spying, fake dating with real feelings, keeping huge things hidden, etc.

Basically that awful sinking feeling when the truth comes out and everything between them fractures for a bit 😭

Edit: THANK U FOR ALL THE RECS ❤️
