Crowdsourcing US Civil War Pension Records?

I've requested and received three different Civil War pension files with the help of Gopher, all of which provided me invaluable nuggets of info. They've been amazing!

I've gotten to the point now, though, that I have more I'd like to see, but I'm not so desperate to see them that I'm excited to drop the $45 fee for each one.

I'm wondering whether there is any place that people crowdsource pension files. Like, upload files they've received so that other people can examine them? I figure I can't be the only person to want to see some of these. It would be great if I could contribute the ones I've already received, and look to see if other people have uploaded other ones that I'm looking for.

I guess the other option would be to compile a list of a lot of files I'd like to see, and go down to NARA in person to collect them. If I get enough of them, it might be cheaper than paying by the piece.

Any suggestions or commiseration welcome.
