New Crosstrek - Auto Turn Off??
Hi Everyone! I just picked up my new Crosstrek yesterday. I made the switch from Outbacks and love the Crosstrek.
This morning I was sitting with the car idling in park while I went through all of the settings. After 30 minutes of being in park idling, a warning came up that said the car had been idling 30 minutes and it was going to turn off.
There are a few times per year that I leave the car running without me in it. Mainly long road trips where I have my dogs and stop for breaks for all of us. I leave the AC on for them while I run inside at rest stops. Typically I’m much faster than 30 minutes, but now I’m worried I’ll get caught up somewhere and the car will turn itself off.
Does anyone know if there is a way to disable this? I’ve searched the settings and the manual and don’t see anything.
Google only brings up results for disabling the Auto Stop/Start, not the auto turn off feature that seems to be new.
Thanks for your help!
