Nie "polecam" internetu od Play - problemy z nowym routerem
I don't know if this is appropriate for this sub, but whatever.
"I don't recommend it" is a very mild word, at least for me. For people who don't care about router configuration, etc., it'll be fine. I live in a rural area, and the only internet providers here are Play and Orange, maybe T-Mobile. I've recently been trying to install my own router (I have 1 gigabit fiber). When my new TP-Link router arrived, I called their hotline and asked, "I'd like my PPPoE login details." What did I get? The login details for the router's admin panel. I thought, okay, maybe they made a mistake, I'll call tomorrow. The next day, I called the hotline in the afternoon, and someone else answered. I asked for the same thing and was told to call the TP-Link hotline. I just wanted the username and password, which only they have, but they told me to call router support. This is a complete lack of knowledge. Some guy in Warsaw also supposedly claimed I couldn't change my router because "it's designed that way," which is illegal because the ISP has to allow me to change to any router.
Besides, I joined Play when they offered a one-year free contract with a two-year contract. That year's up, and how much am I paying? 100 Polish złoty per month (the regular rate is 40-50 złoty).
Maybe I'm not very knowledgeable, but come on.
UPDATE: W Playu mówili mi że mam PPPoE, jednak mam DHCP wielkie dzięki dla wszystkich co pomogli!
