Polar Nights

Hello, you lovely people! After some lovely comments on my post asking if I'm too old to post on Reddit, I have since come up with, planned and am now doing research to write a short story to publish. It's an idea I had a while ago when reading Dostoyevsky's 'White Nights' and is essentially a sequel (if you've ever read it). This time, our dreamer meets a melancholy woman and has his curiosity piqued. Will it end in another heartbreak for our dreamer? Or will his seemingly eternal isolation finally come to an end?

I'm terrible at summarising, but I'm looking to get to writing and publishing soon. Thank you for all your support!

Hello again!

I made a post on here yesterday about feeling too old for wattpad and just wanted to thank all of the lovely people who commented on that post. I have done so ok said post, but I thought it would be more visible in a new post. I did have a story idea involving a Jewish character from WWII finding herself in the present day, but due to the current political climate, I don't feel that would be a well-liked story, so back to the drawing board it is. Thank you all again. I'm so glad to have found such a lovely community. ❤️

Hi!

I'm twenty years old and recently had a story idea I would like to publish on wattpad, but I have this silly voice in the back of my head saying I'm too old and that wattpad is for thirteen year olds writing and reading fanfiction. Can any of you lovely people please reassure me? I would also like to say I'm new to this subreddit/community, but from what I've seen so far, you all seem really nice and friendly. I'm glad to have found a nice side of the internet ❤️
