[Not another vibe coded slop] https://www.tasy.fan/

I got sick of the official fantasy game being so clunky, so I built my own full fledged fantasy app.

Hey everyone,

I’m a massive fan of tournament fantasy football but the official games always end up being a headache. You spend half your time trying to decode their weird "matchday" logic, figuring out who is still unlocked, or guessing when you're actually allowed to switch your captain.

So, I got frustrated enough to just build the version I actually want to play. It’s called https://www.tasy.fan/ (completely free, obviously).

It's still an indie passion project and not some vibe coded slop. I’ve put a lot of work into fixing the stuff that usually makes these games annoying, especially the UX.

Here’s what I tried to fix:

  • No more guessing schedules: Your squad view actually shows the fixture flow properly, making it super easy to see who in your team is playing next. The schedule page has an "Your picks" filter
  • Captain changes that make sense: They are tied to real, actual games, not hidden behind confusing rolling deadlines.
  • Rewarding actual football: In the official games, CDMs are basically useless. I tweaked the scoring so tackles, interceptions, blocks, key passes, and shots on target actually matter. Good defenders and holding mids can actually haul.
  • The standard essentials: Private leagues, simple invite links, chips, vice-captain fallbacks, standard transfers, and a proper knockout stage re-draft.

(Oh, and I also built a bracket predictor that you can mess around with without signing up)

I would genuinely love some feedback from people here who actually grind FPL or tournament fantasy. I really want to know what you think of the UX, scoring balance and game mechanics.

You can check it out here: tasy.fan Let me know what you think!

It's alright if you will never play it and will stick to the official one because your mates are there. Just give this a shot!

Anxious lab. Help!

Anyone has any recommendations on dealing with anxious labs who tend to bark at people? Ours is a lovely dog, means no harm, and wouldn't harm a thing but... he is big, strong, and has a loud bark! Thank you!
