All my family speak french but i do not speak it. I want to learn, but i am not sure what words to learn, what they are, and how to find them.have suggested listening to things in french, but i am not sure how that is going to let me build my vocabulary. How should i attempt to learn french?

reddit.comhow does the moon orbit the earth?
this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKXVRu6JL54, uses a diagram where there is a bend in the fabric of space, which i understand, but in this presentation, the ball does stop orbiting and reaches the larger ball. Why is this not true for us? Why wouldn't the moon be moving closer and inward???
why does warm air rise and cold air sink?
The only thing i can think of is because warm air moves faster in all directions but then that won't necessarily mean it is going up because it is in all directions...right? What i don't get is why cold air sinks
why would hot air rise and cold air sink if the top of a mountain is cold? In addition, why would this occur if they both have the same mass? How does this motion of air then make deserts dry?
atoms and mass
Each atom has mass. What defines the mass of each atom? How does mass actually make you heavier? If we understand that mass is the amount of stuff in something- kind of like matter, then what is the mass of that matter? What is heaviness? Why would something having more mass physically make it heavy? In the same way that heaviness varies for everyone. Where i may hold something and say it is heavy and someone else holds something and says it is light.
What actually defines heaviness? Heaviness cannot be described as something with a larger mass or weight because these weights change depending on which planet you go to as they have different gravitational fields.
Another query is that if a larger object, such as a heavy bed, has mass and its own gravitational field, and the earth also has a gravitational field, since they would both be pulling each other in opposite directions, wouldn’t it weigh less...kinda???
