Been noticing cracking on upstairs bedroom doorway, 3rd pic is from the opposite side. Is this concerning? What does one even do in this scenario? Above this bedroom is the loft space that is being used as storage, would that have any impact?
Ordered this pair **(**M.107-S2 REACTOR DEMON) from Blue Banana around a week ago and finally got them in hand. Was skeptical about the website at first but heard they were reliable- though as this is my first pair I don't have a solid point of reference for authenticity.
I'm aware modern pairs have severely declined in quality especially for the "cheaper-line" models but was a tiny bit suprised by the inconsistent QC issues across this pair and I honestly would not be surprised if they were fake. Is anyone able to weigh in for a legit check?
Nonetheless I am quite excited to wear these out and was shocked that they weren't as heavy and hard to walk in as I thought they would be.
In terms of fit, they are true to size and are actually a bit forgiving around the calf area- though I haven't adjusted them yet. I am typically a UK9 so I stuck with ordering an EU43- without extra thick socks or insoles added yet.
I've seen vintage models of the reactor demon's that have a few differences and was wondering if anything stands out to anyone. The only things I have noticed is that while the hardware appears to be all metal, there is a strange whitish powdery finish on the brackets on the side of the sole.
I heard that New Rocks fit True to Size but the sizing on Blue Banana is a bit outta wack. Im usually a UK9 which is around an EU43, would I be safe getting an EU43 on this site? I hear that some people size up and put insoles but im not too keen on having slightly bigger boots.
What's the difference between the two? Been looking to get my first pair and got curious about these two
