I forgot to clock out last night

It’s been so busy with the golf star clearance event that I totally forgot to clock out and only realized when my scheduling app sent me a message. I haven’t been here long, only a week and a half, and I want to know if I’ll get into trouble for forgetting.

Training shifts

I was hired for a merchandising position and they scheduled 3 training shifts. My first one was Monday but they had me at the register which I know I will be backing up during the holidays. I did much better than I expected considering I’m very much not a people person. Tomorrow and Saturday I have training shifts for the merchandising position before they let me go to do my own thing on Monday. I have a few questions of what to expect in the coming days

How will I know my daily tasks and what to do when I’m done training with an experienced merchandiser? Will there be tasks on the Zebra? Or will they tell me what needs to be done?

During my training, I’ll be using the Zebra ofc. How hard is it to get the hang of? Ik there’s a lot of apps and three different types of sales that merchandise can go thru.

I’m working 5:30-9:30 PM and the store closes at 9:00 PM. Will I also be doing closing tasks? What does that entail?

Is it overall an easy position to get the hang of? Or would you say it’s more difficult than the registers?

Thank you for any pointers or tips. I have been bringing a notepad and writing things down when I get a chance just to help me figure everything out
