Should Glasgow host another Exhibition in 2038?
Glasgow has hosted some kind of exhibition every 50 years (plus two extra in 1901 and 1911) since 1888.
1888 — International Exhibition of Science, Art and Industry at Kelvingrove Park.
1901 — Glasgow International Exhibition at Kelvingrove Park.
1911 — Scottish Exhibition of National History, Art and Industry.
1938 — Empire Exhibition, Scotland 1938 at Bellahouston Park, with Tait’s Tower as its centrepiece.
1988 — Glasgow Garden Festival.
There are still 12 years to plan it but do you think it will likely or even should host another Garden Festival or Worlds Fair type Exhibition?
Also what would you like to see at such an event? Personally, I'd love a replica of Tait's Tower.
