I've been converted to Sub from Dub.

So I've almost always been a Dub only sorta person. My mindset was that if I had to constantly be reading the subtitles I'd miss out on everything else going on, whereas with Dub I'd be able to just listen and still pay attention to everything.
Recently though I've watched Youjo Senki or The Saga of Tanya the Evil, and unfortunately the OVA and Movie aren't Dubbed. So because I was really enjoying the anime, I decided to give Subbed a chance, and boy did my expectations get blown away. I'd still say at the beginning it had a bit of that problem where I wasnt paying attention to the screen and was maybe missing some stuff, but as I continued watching it got easier and easier for me to multitask with it.
Overall I think that I'll still probably do Dubbed most of the time if the anime has one, but if the Dub just sucks or if the anime is only Subbed, I'll absolutely still be sinking my teeth into it. This also really helps for new anime or new seasons coming out, so I can watch them when most people are rather than waiting another one to two weeks.

So I'm an avid fanfic reader, especially of the MHA fandom, and I've noticed a trend with any fanfic's that have texting scenes with Deku being the one texting. That trend is that it always seems that Deku is significantly more sassy over text. This is in relation to the other dialog with Deku in the fanfics by the way, so its not just he's sassier than in canon.
