This really needs a rule revision. All that needs to happen is acknowledgement that abilities that move the commander from the command zone into play are subject to the commander tax. That is all that is required. If that were done it would do so much to balance these commanders.

With all the busted 2-drop commanders they are pushing, it is time they bring the eminence commanders to arena. Oloro, Edgar, etc. All of them should be in arena. they give nice three-color options that can help counter the insane power of the two-drops that are currently irritating the crap out of the ladder.
