My sister suffer global anoxic cortex injury, doctors said only part that survived was her brainstem. Injury was caused by 30 minutes of cardiac arrest and her brain not receiving enough oxygen for 30 minutes. I was told she doesn’t have chance to purposeful life.
I was given two choices either let her go on comfort or post acute&rehab center. For now i decided to have her go to rehab, even though its been 3 weeks and she still haven’t followed any commands.
