New fence question
Hi there
I'm looking at putting in a 25m 6 foot fence in my garden. The line runs along 2 areas of patio as can be seen from the main picture (right hand side). The top area I am comfortable with just lifting the slabs and digging post holes (they just rest on sand and it is earth underneath). The bottom area however rests on a plinth of concrete and the slabs are properly bedded on top (again in concrete). It is 3.6m across, so it would count for one of the posts if the others are shifted a few inches.
My question regards those bolt on post mounts. I wouldn't trust them to support a fence if they were all that, but given 13 of the posts will be seated fully, would it be possible to just use 1, or would there be stability issues?
I can remove the slabs if necessary, but am reluctant to break up all that concrete.
Any advice gratefully received, very new to this!
Cheers
