Hi everyone,

Planning our honeymoon in Thailand and need some advice from people who’ve been there, especially during June.

Context:

• Travel dates in Thailand: June 15–23
• We’re doing Singapore first, then Krabi/Phuket, then Bangkok
• For the beach/island part, we’re trying to decide between Krabi and Phuket (open to other suggestions too)
• We’re looking for a mix of relaxation + sightseeing
• Big priority: island hopping (this is something I’m really excited about - phi phi, railey etc)
• Honeymoon, so scenic/romantic vibes matter too

My biggest concern is weather.

I know June is monsoon season on the Andaman side.
If we choose Krabi, how worried should we be?

• Does it usually rain all day, or is it more short showers?
• Do island hopping tours (Hong Islands / Phi Phi / 4 islands) often get cancelled?
• Is there a real chance that all our plans get ruined because of weather?
• Would Phuket be a safer choice, or is weather basically the same there?
• Someone suggested Koh Samui, but I'm kinda invested in Krabi mentally, and having a hard time letting it go.

Would love to hear from anyone who has been to Krabi or Phuket in mid-June and how your experience was.
