I'm leaving Virgin next month after 27 years now ive got fttp in my area.

Virgin have just activated 2gb but not for ext customers, only new so i'm off

I have a Goalake Umanaged 8 Port 2.5G Switch, 8 x 2.5G Base-T Ports, 1 x 10G SFP+, 60Gbps

Its never worked with the virgin hub 5 because of IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) standard.

Will this switch work with the youfibre wifi 7 router that you get for the 2gb service, will also have the extra mesh for an extra fiver

If im in the same boat as virgin can anyone recomend me a switch 8 port for around £50
