Post Nasal Drip
I’ve been on Tirzepatide since October. Since sometime in late February, which was around the time I last increased my dose, I’ve been experiencing an awful post nasal drip. It is basically constant every day, although sometimes it is better or worse, depending on the day and the time. I’ve tried everything… I’ve been on antibiotics, steroids, four different nasal sprays, allergy pills, acid reflux meds, I’ve seen an ENT, had a nasal endoscopy, etc. Next they want to send me for a CT, which is going to be $$$.
My mouth just feels constantly wet and full of mucus. I am having no other sinus issues.
I am now reading that this may be a tirzepatide side effect. Has anyone experienced this? If so, has anyone gone off their GLP one because of it? If so, what was your experience… did it go away after time?
I think due to this and some other issues I am going to stop taking it at least long enough to verify whether it is actually the tirzeptide or not.
