I recently started filling the basket completely and now I understand why they say so 😅, it makes the flow even which meaning a good uniform resistance by the coffee puck , results into a sweeter and balanced cup.
I think they don't understand what medium roast is , this is most intense dark roast I've tasted yet , the dry bean aroma is burnt and harsh with hints of coffee, so I brewed it in moka pot 1:5 ratio ,turned out better than expected, the harsh aroma mellows down , you can taste some chocolate notes if you can get through the bitterness but someone new would just find it repulsive.
Overall it's ok at the price range but they can atleast control the roast level.
So I got this super fresh just 5 days post roast, I couldn't wait for it to rest so I brewed it today, surprisingly a great brew with mokapot, it tasted sweet, berry notes were there also I could tell olives as well , by far the most sweet cup I've pulled with mokapot , I'm gonna let it rest for atleast 5 more days for another cup.
