I had a problem where if a YouTube video was >10 minutes, I'd end it thinking... "what did I just watch?" I started actively taking notes to capture my learning, but then the question became "where would I store these?" and "how will I remember to revisit them?".

To solve this, I made the browser extension YouNotes in hopes of simplifying note-taking on Youtube.

With YouNotes you can:

• Write notes directly inside Youtube’s player with rich text support (headings, lists, styles)
• Save & revisit your notes whenever you visit the video’s page
• Search & filter through all notes taken via the extension popup
