Has anyone had experience with getting back into Faculty (of Arts) kind of late and missing course registration periods?

Right now I’m in the Fresh Start program and trying to return to Arts. My current GPA is 2.2, while Arts with an Economics major requires 2.3, so I ended up taking a spring course to try to raise it enough.

But because of that, I’m basically missing all the admission timing and course registration periods for Fall/Winter 😭

Now I’m really worried about whether there will still be any decent or necessary courses left by the time I can register, or if I’ll end up having to build a schedule entirely from leftovers at terrible times with courses I don’t even really need.

Does the university usually leave at least some spots open for students who register later because of situations like this, or is it basically survival mode by that point? 😅

Does anyone know if the Math 154 final exams were actually graded? 😭

I’m genuinely confused because my grade literally did not change at all after the final. I had a C+ before the exam, and somehow I still ended up with a C+ after the final too.

Now I’m wondering if I’m just extremely predictable academically or if the finals maybe weren’t graded yet at some point 😅

The grade took so long to appear, and since Canvas access got closed, I can’t even check what grade I got on the final itself anymore.

Did anyone else’s final grade change because of the exam, or did yours stay exactly the same too?
