Star jasmine - leaf color

Star jasmine - leaf color

My star jasmine did well last year, but now its leaves are mainly a very light green. Is it suffering from a nutrient deficiency? I keep it outside in Washington DC in a self- watering pot. Last winter we had very low temperatures and maybe that affected it as well. As you can see it is flowering, but the leaf color worries me! When I got it all leaves were dark green

Patio shade - attaching to house

Advice appreciated - I am working on a plan to put a shade sail over part of a rear patio. My plan is to attach two corners to 10 foot high steel posts anchored in the concrete patio. The corners on the opposite side would be attached with expansion bolts to two large columns that support the rear addition to the house. My question is will the attachment to the columns be strong enough, especially in case of wind, or will they pop out due to the tension. The shade will be only 9 feet by 13 feet. The columns are about 1 1/2 feet in diameter and have a concrete stucco exterior, but i cannot tell how solid they are. Maybe cinderblock? The addition was put up in about 2010 by a professional contractor. Here is a photo. To see how solid it is should I drill a test hole? Thanks!!
