cat suddenly seems to dislike me?
i've had my cat awhile now (several years), but she seems to not like me much anymore? she used to be pretty affectionate with me, preferring to be near me if not on me. lately however, she's been going to my mom almost exclusively. she only comes to me now for food, and randomly attacks my legs despite being consistently played with. she doesn't seem to want to play with me particularly much anymore either. im not a longtime cat haver (she is my very first); i dont think shes sick, her eating/drinking/bathroom is good; she hasnt been hiding or vocalizing pain and shes not grimacing. head is held up above shoulders, mouth doesn't seem tense, coat looks good and isnt shedding overmuch. im used to her preferring to sleep in other places but then why's she being so mean to my legs?
