Had fun doing a build roulette in SSF so I started working on a site to make it feel more 'proper'
The inspiration for this was first being recommended a video by Schwingy on my YouTube homepage which ultimately led to me binge watching his entire Build Roulette Series (PoE 1 & 2), the 0.5 wait has had me scouring the corners of YouTube on anything to quench the hype thirst.
Thought I'd try my hand at a build roulette in SSF since it's so late in the league and rolled Infernalist Pounce.
Lo and behold, randomized builds opened up an entirely new aspect of fun to the game for me. There's something about the challenge and excitement of trying to make work two significant parts of your character that you didn't decide, and the accomplishment that comes along with it when it does work.
I couldn't find any other site that invoked felt like it fit with the Path of Exile theme, so I decided to set one up that made rolling a build feel a bit more "proper". The site also has a "lock" option (thematically named) if you want to play a specific ascendancy but roll a skill to go along with it which led to me doing another play through of a Disciple of Varashta Bone Cage as I wanted to play this ascendancy specifically.
It's a bit of fun, also has a regex builder in it and quick links to PoE2DB and poe.ninja to make life a little easier, and everything is local on your machine.
