I’m replacing a deck for a customer and have encountered lots of water damage from the lack of proper ledger board installation and lack of flashing. I cannot find a proper way to secure a new ledger. Is this an engineered truss I’m looking at? There was furring and then osb and siding, but past that I found this and have no way to secure the ledger properly.
