Acer service center quoted ₹49k to repair a ₹55k laptop. What should I do?
Motherboard died on my Acer laptop. Took it to a local repair guy who made it worse and on top of that swapped my RAM with a faulty 2GB stick, basically stole my original RAM. No warranty.
Called Acer authorized service center, they quoted ₹49k for motherboard replacement. Rejected that. Then the same guy offers to do it personally for ₹16k which felt sketchy so I passed.
Still have the 512GB SSD intact. I have no option left any advice guys i am totally broke at this time.
