What do you use a EDC for?
I never had an edc before, but after recently starting playing around with knife making I am looking to make my first edc knife. What do you guys actually use your edc for and do you actually carry it around with you every day?
How to make the brass pins in the bolster "disappear"?
I'm new to knife making. This is my 5th knife. Second one with a brass bolster. How do I make the brass pins in the brass bolster less visible? I have used a 3mm drill bit (hand drill) and 3mm brass pins. I put epoxy glue on the pins, put it through the holes, let it dry and then grind and sand it.
Any help and additional adviice on the knife would be much appreciated. Its a hunting knife that I made for my brother.
Let's see your touchmarks, I need some inspiration.
Please post an example one of your knives focusing on the touchmark. I am a new knife maker and need inspiration and ideas for my own touchmark.
30kg cast iron anvil or 7kf railway track.
I am New to this hobby. Already bought a cheap 30kg anvil but it's got very little bounce. I see it's cast iron. It deos eksve dents if I hit it with the hammer. Ti's mounted on a tree stump. I like this size and weight of the anvil but would a steel anvil like a railway track piece be better even if it'd much lighter and smaller area for working on? I already bought everything so budget is close to 0 now. I am. In south Africa.

What is the best a to z beginner online course for bladesmithing
Hi guys. I have been interested in bladesmithing and knife making as a hobby for aong time, but there are no workshops or courses in our area so I never persued it.
Finally I decided screw that I am going to try and learn it myself following online courses. The problem is there are so many YouTube videos. I need a proper structured online course. I don't mind paying for it, within reason. What is the absolute best online course or teacher that can teach me everything step by step? Please send me all your recommendations.
I already have or ordered some basic equipment that fits my budget. Ie. I already bought a 30kg anvil, 1kg cross pein hammer, bench vice, angle grinder, hand files, hand drill, sand paper, wood for handle etc. I don't have a belt sander/grinder yet.
What advice do you guys have? I know this is a practical skill and hands on teaching is best, but what is my best option if I just want to start making some basic knives learning online only.
