The biopic knew exactly what it was doing by not adding any of his special friends.

Every time someone questions “why did they never bring up the allegations”, a fan always says it was because they were illegally prohibited which has its slim truth. Honestly that was the best thing that could’ve happened to the biopic because anyone with 25% of a brain wouldn’t have fallen for the relationship depiction between Michael and Jordan especially with the way Michael looked in that era.

But they also didn’t add Wade, James, etc when they were present as “special friends” throughout that era. That may also be a legal thing given that they publicly came out about what happened to them but I don’t know if it actually is.

But even if it is what about Johnathan Spence and Emmanuel Lewis? Two kids that knew him during the timespan of that piece of propaganda. Why didn’t they add a scene of MJ and Emmanuel Lewis meeting on set and MJ telling his crew that he wanted Emmanuel alone? And literally what about Johnathan and MJ walking down the hallway holding hands while visiting sick kids in hospitals? They could’ve replaced the calling a random kid doodoo head scene with something actually interpersonal.. wasn’t the biopic supposed to be a look into his life?

Any of his “special friends” actually being in the movie and being as close as they were could’ve made some of the public’s reception collapse. A good amount of people. I’ve been in this sub for about a year and just learned about Brett Barnes the other day. A lot of people don’t know how many special friends MJ had. He used women as beards but he used other kids as props. The amount of pictures he has with children is so overwhelming that when I was a fan, I had seen pictures with almost everyone that accused him but it was in a pile with pictures of a whole bunch of other random kids. This made it hard to understand how close he was with his victims.

Also Jafaar is going to hell for playing that man and is very stupid if he believed that script.
