- der Hunger in anderen Ländern steht im Zusammenhang mit dem Wirtschaftssystem, Konflikten oder Naturkatastrophen. Nicht damit, dass dein Onkel seine pommes nicht aufisst.

- ja, respektvoller Umgang mit Ressourcen und Erzeugung ist wichtig. Aber das ist er bei allen Arten von Müll.

Wenn einem diese Themen stören, sollte man sich an diesen Stellen dafür einsetzen, statt sich milde lächelnd darauf auszuruhen, dass man die alte paprika noch gegessen hat.

Ich komme aus einer links-ökologischen bubble und obwohl auch in meinem Freundeskreis die meisten einig sind, dass konsumkritik und Dinge wie co2-footprint das Problem verkehrt herum betrachten, ist zB das wegwerfen von gemüse eigenartig ideologisch aufgeladen. Wenn ich auf meine konservativen Freunde schaue wird diese Aufladung teilweise noch größer, auch religiös oder aus Nähe zu landwirtschaft bedingt.

Niemand sagt, dass es gut ist, tonnenweise essen zu verschwenden, aber nüchtern betrachtet ist lebensmittelmüll nicht anders als anderer müll.

I've noticed that at multiple public swimming pools here they don't allow all kinds of swimwear. Typically swimming shorts are not allowed and they sell allowed ones at the entrance. As a non-Belgian this has surprised me, has it always been like that here? In other countries I've seen attempts to ban full-body swimwear to target muslim women, is this how that rule developed here because they needed a 'non-discriminatory' way?

The cashier explained me it was for hygiene purposes but I don't really buy it, I guess all swimwear can be dirty or clean and they don't check for example what kind of shoes people bring. I have seen lots of people walk around with sandals they probably could also wear on the street.
