Should I give it a try?

I’m 44. I had done three rounds of egg freezing in my 30s and only ever got 2-4 eggs. These were all at different clinics around the country. When I finally unfroze those and fertilized them with my husband’s sperm, there was only one good embryo and it didn’t stick. I swore off IVF at the time, got a puppy, and moved on.

Miraculously, I got pregnant naturally at 42 and delivered a healthy baby at 43. We’ve been trying for the past 8 months for #2 and I think I’ve had 5 chemical pregnancies at this point.

I really want to try IVF because I can’t give up the itch. But then I see the stats and it seems so discouraging. Not sure if I should give it a try, or get another puppy, or both?
