I listen to a pretty diverse mix: lots of bass, EDM, synth, J-pop, and Kpop, with some 80s-90s pop rock/country and gaming music. I also commute daily. Wears glasses. Don't mind the price. I would like it to last about 3 years +. Sound quality is the most important to me. Thanks for your time!
Hi everyone! I’ve been researching for about a week now and I’m conflicted between the Soundcore Q20i and the Life Q35.
I listen to a pretty diverse mix: lots of bass, EDM, synth, J-pop, and K-pop, with some 80s-90s Pop Rock/Country and gaming OSTs thrown in.
Both are on sale rn on Shopee. The Q35 is about $25+ more expensive, which I don’t mind if the upgrade is worth it. For context, I looked into the Space One as well, but I wasn't convinced the sound quality was a significant jump over the Q series (and the Space One Pro isn’t available in my country. Also, I think it sounds way bad than the Q series to my liking? Based on what I've seen from YT reviewers though).
I have a few specific questions before I pull the trigger:
3) Longevity: If I buy either of these now, how many years can I realistically expect them to last with daily use? I'll be using them to commute and work-related meetings, and sometimes light gaming.
Note for comfort: I wear glasses daily, so I’m looking for the pair with softer cushions that won't press the frames into my head during long gaming or listening sessions.
