Floor bed sleeper on vacation
Hello everyone! My three year old has slept in his own floor bed since he was 1yo. His floor bed is a single mattress with low "rails" made of foam. He's a great sleeper. He does move a lot though and he, occasionally, once a month or two, sits up while still asleep with his back to the the entrance/exit of the bed and just fall back onto the floor.
We've had vacations but he was either small enough to sleep in a pack-n-play or we went by car and took a carriable mattress with us.
This year, though, we're flying to a typical hotel. They have pack-n-plays but he's way too big for them now, and they have regular beds. I'm really scared of him falling off the bed, and I don't think I can carry a bed rail with me in the airplane, so any ideas or tips on how to handle this? I'd be grateful!
