IRCTC booking seat preference for ladies?
Hi,
I need to book train tickets for 2 of us, husband, wife and a toddler(no seat reqd) in 3AC, its a 2 day journey. 2AC we are not preferring bcz this train has just 1 2nd AC compartment and its condition is usually very bad, its attached to gen compartment at the end, so washroom condition is also bad, even there was no plug points for side the side upper/side lower berths, 3AC condition look much better in this train, due to prior bad exp with 2AC in this train, its decided we'll be choosing the 3AC. From ladies perspective with a toddler(not dependent on feeding) which will be a good option, side lower berth or lower berth, which one feels better to you if travelling with a family. I'm confused between side lower+side upper and 2 lower seats side by side for us. For side seats, no one will disturb asking for seats to sit in daytime but traffic will be more through the passage and in lower seats, upper berth people wud request for seating during daytime but , although we can use 1 seat and leave 1 for others, but hassle with be there to fold the blanket and again spread it while sleeping. Please share your views.
