Planning a Bengali destination wedding in Kolkata (Feb 2027) — need hotel/resort venue, caterer & makeup artist recs!
Hey everyone! My partner and I are getting married on February 24, 2027 in Kolkata and the planning stress is very real 😅
It's a traditional Bengali wedding. Around **100 guests**, and since mostly people are coming from out of town, we're treating it as a **destination wedding** — ideally one property where guests can stay, celebrate, and not worry about logistics.
**What we're looking for:**
**🏨 Venue (priority #1)**
- A hotel, resort, or heritage property that can accommodate **25–30 rooms** for guests
- Should have an outdoor or indoor event space for all 3 events across 2 days
- Banquet halls are our last resort — we'd much prefer a property with character (heritage hotel, resort, garden property)
- Open to locations in and around Kolkata
**🍽️ Caterer**
- Must nail traditional Bengali food
- Preferably someone experienced with multi-day wedding catering
- Personal experiences > Google reviews please!
