LUMS MS TME

Hello,

I understand undergrad decisions are pouring in and MBA/EMBA interview calls are going out. Has anyone who has applied for MS TME heard back yet?

Jaecoo J5

I need two cars I have a 2023 Altis which is the preferred car for longer distances and a 2022 JDM 660 which is super economical. The JDM was the first time I departed from the Big 3 and was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and general feel.

The Corolla has been, however, pinching my pocket and I don’t want to keep overpaying for fuel to drive a car which can take a beating, sure, but doesn’t really offer as many modern comforts.

My maximum driving range starts at Lahore and finishes at Nathia Gali. So I don’t need any off roading capabilities. I would want higher ride height and the Jaecoo J5 ticks a lot of the boxes.

My budget is 85 max. What should I get?
I am a bit worried about the hybrid battery/Chinese vehicle.

I'm renting a house and want to go solar, but I've hit a snag. My landlord is fine with me installing stands for panels on the roof, but says I can't remove them when I leave. Since I'm planning to move in about a year, I really don't want to sink money into something I'll have to abandon.

So my question is: what are my options for a fully portable/removable solar setup?

Here's what I've been looking at so far:

  • Solar ACs — some brands sell ACs that come bundled with their own panels. Seems convenient but I'm not sure about the value for money or if they actually perform well.
  • Inverters + power banks — I've seen some Itel and similar brand portable inverters and power banks that can pair with panels. Looks like a modular setup I could just pack up and go.

What I want:

  • No permanent roof mounting  no drilling, no brackets I'd have to leave behind.
  • Easy to install and disassemble something I can set up myself and take apart when I move.
  • Reasonably useful  even if it doesn't power the whole house, offsetting some electricity cost would be great.

Has anyone here done something similar? Ground-mounted panels, balcony setups, weighted/ballasted stands, portable solar generators — I'm open to all ideas.

I’ve been SIPing every month regardless of where the market is. Over the past 4-5 months I’ve shifted towards buying some actual stock too rather than just buying ETF
