I want to buy a new car. My budget is 6 to 6.5 million PKR. Should I buy the new Elantra(1.6 limited edition) I’d like some suggestions.

I'm confused between:

• Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 Automatic (2018–2020, ~80–100k km)
• Civic X (~80–100k km)
• Suzuki Swift GLX (new/almost new)
• Toyota Yaris (used, top variant possibly)
• Alsvin (New, But low-resale)

Main priorities:

• Comfort above everything (smooth ride, suspension, quiet cabin, good AC)
• Reliability
• Good resale/value retention (planning to sell in 2–3 years)

I don't care much about sporty driving or looks.

Possible Price drops like promotional offers I should look for when buying Swift?

Corolla seems more comfortable and reliable but it's older and has a 4-speed auto. Swift is newer with a more modern transmission.

What would you buy in my situation, or is there another option I'm missing?

got civic reborn auto as my first car (dont question my dumbness i know the fuel average) wanted something powerful and fun to drive in my budget now im thinking of selling it and getting a manual variant due to a few reasons firstly i want a manual car its fun to drive and feels more in control secondly ive heard its fuel average is better. My auto civic gives me 6 kmpl i mostly drive in traffic im happy even if i get 8-9 kmpl. Any manual civic reborn owners whats the actual fuel average coz ive seen people claiming 12-13kmpl hard to believe coz if thats the case i wont even think before buying it. I usually drive it to my university and office daily university is 13 km each side out of which 25% im stuck in traffic about office its 5 km from my home no traffic approx total running a month would be 500km

I bought civic 11th gen oriel 2024 and it has 20k miles on it fourth owner car so i wanted to ask that ki is wali civic ka meter reverse hota hy? Because someone i know told me ki it maybe possible that meter is reversed but someone told me ki is wali mein nahin hota so guys help me out i really love the car but i am bit concerned about this

Lmk where you guys fill nitrogen gas in Lahore locations, I live near pine avenue.

Haval this haval that. I heard hev gives around 16 in city. But most of the cars I see on road are 1.5t, what's the realistic fuel average of the 1.5t?

If you own Hev or 2.0T awd let me know about average for those aswell.

We were about to book the atto 3 today, but I found out that atto 3 evo has released globally which is 30-40% times better in range, battery capacity and charging. Since atto 3 released a significant time ago (2022) we are skeptical that if we buy this right now by the time of delivery what if byd pakistan releases atto 3 evo and the resale declines significantly.

Hence we are thinking to buy atto 2 instead, it fits right in but we are scared that what if atto 2 is a failed car. We recently bought HRV base model and kind of regretting it and hoping we don’t make the same mistake again.

Please suggest what to do

Basically seen very varying news regarding electric vehicle pricing.

Are they reducing tax or increasing it in the upcoming finance act.

I’m in a big Dillemma on which one should I get. I’m worried about the EV future in Pakistan and parts and labour isn’t cheap for both as they are both Chinese. I really like the fact that the Otto 2 doesn’t have much maintenance and also it’s EV capability and saving me tons of money in gas prices.

My question I’d like to ask is if the resale of these cars after one year what would it be like and what is a safer and better option.

P.s I do like the interior and panoramic sunroof in the jaeco j5 and its premium leather and ventilated seats.

Please advise me someone.
