What’s your take on Westernization (modern slavery)

I’m curious to know about how the identity of us Zambians is rapidly changing ; our culture, values, beliefs etc … where do we draw the line and claim our identity even traditionally Zambians are taking on other peoples cultures like for weddings or kitchen parties people are dressed like Nigerians /ghanians , as we continue to urbanize is this bringing more good than harm or vice versa where do you see us in the next 10 years. Do we have the ability/capacity to lead ourselves? What’s your take? I’d like to know how life was before 2000s in terms of lifestyle, culture etc do you feel more free? Or restricted with the new wave of life?
