3 Phase colour order
I have a supplier saying the EC regulation has changed the three phase colour order. It’s now Black L1, Brown L2 and Grey L3. Is this correct I cannot find any information on this online.
* Update*
I have questioned what the specific regulation is. Also stated selling into the U.K. they need to comply with the regulations here. They said the conductors are marked L1, L2 and L3 but the marks are prints on the cable but it’s hard to see compared to cable numbers etc. The equipment has built in phase rotation check so the installer won’t be able to run equipment with incorrect rotation but it cause a headache with service calls.
