I had a few Parkside X20V batteries sitting around and started thinking — why not use one of them as a portable power source?
So I designed and 3D printed this little USB charging hub.
It has 2× USB-A and 2× USB-C, and the SW3518 module allows USB-C PD charging for compatible devices — even laptops.
It supports PD 3.0, PPS, QC4.0+ and QC3.0, so it can handle much more than just charging a phone.
Now one of my Parkside batteries can come in handy not only for power tools, but also when I need USB power in the workshop, car or outdoors. 🔋⚡
Honestly, I wasn’t sure how useful it would be until I tried it. 😄
Wall-mounted hose reel with 15m garden hose. 38€ in Lidl Greece.
A Berliner is a traditional German doughnut: a round, deep-fried yeast pastry filled with jam and usually dusted with powdered sugar.
Nice machine shame its only with a 2.0A battery....
Lets spin the london eye!
I know at least one of the shop vacs Parkside sells has an integrated plug that automatically starts the vac, but I already own a shop vac. And jeez, all the options out there are so expensive. I wish they make one.
So some of the shop-vac's come with an outlet through which you can power your tool, and the use of the tool will turn on the vacuum, great stuff! All my tools are battery powered.. any way to get that functionality?
Never seen in the wild (by me at least), available for online ordering.
I got tired of carrying my Parkside batteries around one by one.
Sometimes they ended up in my pockets, sometimes mixed in with tools, and whenever I needed to move several batteries, I had to carry them separately. It was annoying, uncomfortable, and honestly just unnecessary.
So I decided to design a simple carrier for up to 6 Parkside 20V batteries.
The carrier has an integrated handle, making it much easier to transport multiple batteries at once while keeping them organized. It supports the 2 Ah, 4 Ah, 8 Ah and 12 Ah batteries.
This started as a small personal project to solve a problem that was bothering me, and I’m quite happy with how it turned out. 🙂
For anyone interested in the project, the model is available here:
Parkside / Xtline Battery Carrier V2 – MakerWorld
The model is free to download and 3D print.
If you end up printing one, I’d love to see how you use it!
Hi guys, I've been using the 12v green drill for 2 years now and I'm more or less happy. But the retention of the bits in the bit holder under the chuck is killing me. They fall out every fifth screw, if I'm using something a bit heavier (extension, a small socket) every time. Is there a similar version with better bit retention?
I'm even thinking of getting the impact drill with the collar that locks the bit in.
Kaufland is going to sell this mini 12v circular saw this week (in Poland) for 18€ and I'm tempted. My corded HS7611 is amazing, but quite heavy and I'd be interested in something complimentary for the ease of use. Is it any good? I have the performance angle grinder, but apparently it isn't the besr for wood, so there's this green one.
Ring popped off. Guess I can try glue and hammer it back if had a caulking gun to get the glue from the tube! (Ah found it!)
You can find them all here: https://www.lidl.de/l/prospekte/aktionsprospekt-31-08-2026-05-09-2026-c665d6/view/overview/page/1?_ab=1&lf=HHZ
And much, much more. I think especially the prices are really good, the gold accents are a nice touch.
I'm thinking of getting the Schwarzenegger drill. I like them without the hammer feature.
Found some cheap stuff today in Lithuania, bought everything i didnt had
So i had to cut some furniture down and since renting a Reciprocating saw in my local Hardware store for 1 day cost 30 euros i brought the ppfs 1200A1 for 50 euros from Kaufland and it really did a great job, used it pretty much the whole day and it didnt complain one bit. Definitely gonna keep an eye on them when needing Tools in the future.
Mode dial doesn’t change anything. While I will never use any other mode than drilling + hammering. Should I be worried and return it?
I went for milk and ended up buying this led light.
Even my wife (who doesn't share my prakside enthusiasm) was impressed by how bright it is.
Will buy another one today.
